French Pastries Fundamentals Week 4 (Individual Class)
In this 4 week class, we will tackle 4 of the staples found in any true French bake shop. We will not only make the pastries commonly associated with these doughs including a variety of fillings and toppings, but we will also learn the science behind what makes each pastry so special.

About the event
Even though we would prefer this class be taken as a series, we understand there are always conflicts! We are posting this as an individual class as well in case your student is unable to attend the whole series.
Week 4: We will embark on laminated doughs (Pâte Feuilletée) by learning the more user-friendly form of puff pastry called "rough puff". This class will focus a lot on proper rolling techniques for tougher doughs, and we will our efforts mainly on making a showpiece mille-feuille with fun garnishes. This class is designed to build your learning week after week, so we will be recalling techniques and recipes from earlier weeks as we go. We will soon offer French Pastry Fundamentals Series 2 which will take the techniques and recipes from the first series, and elevate them even further.
