Cooking with the Seasons

Service Description
Join Chef Jess from Mama Jean as we continue to explore the James Beard award-winning cookbook Six Seasons: A New Way with Vegetables by Joshua McFadden. We’ll select recipes that spotlight seasonal-summer-fall harvest and then sit down to enjoy the dishes together for a BYOB meal. The Menu for September 22: Corn and Tomato Salad with Torn Croutons, p. 225 (contains: tree nuts/pistachios, wheat) Rigatoni and Eggplant and Sausage alla Norma, p. 239 (contains: dairy, wheat) Red Pepper, Potato, and Prosciutto Frittata Topped with Ricotta, p. 248 (contains: dairy, eggs, wheat) Crunchy Mixed-Bean Salad with Celery and Tarragon, p. 260 (contains: eggs) Note: some dishes may incorporate meat, dairy, and/or gluten. Participants will purchase the cookbook through Molly’s Bookstore with a 20% discount. You do not need to book to participate in the class. We can print out the recipes as well. Payments for classes and dinners at The Kitchen are non-refundable. If you find yourself unable to attend, you may transfer the ticket to someone else. However we are unable to refund fees and all payments are final.
