Welcome! My name is Chef Ryan Scanlon and I’m thrilled to be hosting in tandem with The Kitchen an upcoming pasta-making class where I get to share one of my greatest passions creating delicious, handmade pasta from scratch. I was raised on Martha’s Vineyard, where working at Alchemy on Main Street in Edgartown I discovered the joy of cooking and the deep satisfaction that comes from sharing a great meal with others. Over the years, I’ve found that what truly lights me up is teaching people the things that bring me happiness. Whether it’s the rhythm of kneading dough, the satisfaction of rolling out silky sheets of pasta, or the simple joy of a shared table, I love showing others how fun and rewarding it can be. This class is more than just about food, it’s about connecting, learning something new, and walking away with a skill you’ll be proud of. I can’t wait to cook with you! For those who may not know, Ryan is a Chef at Pammie's in Cambridge (it's an amazing place if you have not been), and he was recently on Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef. Ryan is a joy and has a lot of knowledge to impart! We hope you can make it!
