Food Explorers at the Melrose Farmers' Market

This weeks Food Exploration class is being held at the Melrose Farmers' Market! 

Geared for students ages 4-7, whether your child is a foodie or a fussy eater, they are welcome to come play, explore, and

get cookin’ in this class! This class will provide parents with the language to use with children around foods, to remove

tension from mealtimes. Kids will explore a fruit, a vegetable, and a dip in a low-pressure, creative and playful

environment. They will get some hands-on cooking experience (no-heat cooking) by making

their own dips such as hummus, chocolate hummus, homemade ranch dressing and more!

Each class will finish with circle time to read a book about food.

This class is taught by Registered Dietitian and Culinary Educator Gaby Simons.
