French Pastries Fundamentals I (Individual Class selection)

In this 4 week class, we will tackle 4 of the staples found in any true French bake shop. We will not only make the pastries commonly associated with these doughs including a variety of fillings and toppings, but we will also learn the science behind what makes each pastry so special.

About the event

Even though we would prefer this class be taken as a series, we understand there are always conflicts! We are posting this as an individual class as well in case your student is unable to attend the whole series. 

Week 1: We will cover our staple tart doughs, including Pâte sucrée and Pâte sablée, using these doughs, we will learn proper tart shell making and fillings, as well as some contemporary-style tart creations, and some sablee cookies.
