About the event
Do you love the Great British Bake Off? We love it too! Join Chef Deniz as we recreate the show, minus the competition. Instead, each week we'll drink tea together while learning the techniques behind some of the show's greatest hits. Examples of what we will bake are:
- Victoria Sandwich Cake (with raspberry jam or lemon curd)
- Classic Swiss Roll (chocolate genoise roll with whipped cream)
- Savory Scones with British Condiments and Sharp English Cheddar
- Every week, Pots of English Breakfast Tea, of course!
While this is geared towards High School students, we will be flexible on ages of students who are willing and able to follow instructions and listen to the instructor.Â
