Learn how to make lower sugar summer jams and preserve the delicious fruit of the season! We’ll be joining baker Jessica Drench from Mama Jean in Melrose for a hands-on class to learn preserving techniques and to make our own creative concoctions, including blueberry earl gray and raspberry mint.

Learn how to make lower sugar summer jams and preserve the delicious fruit of the season! We’ll be joining baker Jessica Drench from Mama Jean in Melrose for a hands-on class to learn preserving techniques and to make our own creative concoctions, including blueberry earl gray and raspberry mint. We will also bake our own buttermilk biscuits to enjoy with a jam sampling at the end of the class.
Mama Jean is a whole food kitchen offering homemade goodness. Seasonal ingredients are sourced from local businesses and farms whenever possible, and from Jessica's own organic herb and flower garden here in Melrose. Specialties include gluten-free, plant-based/vegan, paleo, dairy-free, and allergy-friendly delights.
